God wants you just as you are, scars and all.

Many of us will experience some type of surgery in our lifetime. Hopefully, all of us that have surgery will receive positive benefits from the operation, in terms of our health. However, in almost every surgery there is an unwanted byproduct called scarring that each of us are left with. While scarring is a natural response to damaged skin, it can often create external or internal problems. For many, the scars on the outside dissipate over time, while internal scars remain with us much longer and are often painful.

In 1973 the United States Supreme Court in a 7-2 decision legalized abortion in America. What started out as freedom to choose for women became a life sentence for many. An internal scar of pain and suffering; created by the taking of innocent life. The reasons for their decision are many; some aborted because of pressure from others, some aborted because of fear, while others made an unemotional, intellectual choice to abort. No matter the reason, the byproduct for many women is internal, emotional scar's that are painful and continue to grow day after day.

Their methods of coping from the pain of their past is as numerous as the reasons they decided to have the abortion. But how can any of us ease our pain from poor choices we made in our past? No lotion or medicine exists, to sooth the scars's or take away our pain.

While my first priority is for the unborn baby, my heart goes out to the mothers who decided to abort their child and who now suffer from the secret scar of their past. While doctors can sometimes help with the pain of internal scar's created by surgery, only God can take away the pain of abortion from the heart of a mother.

To every woman that chose to abort; I need them to know, God wants you just as you are, scars and all. He will take away the pain of their past and give them peace. He will take away their grief and give them grace. The pain they thought they would have to live with for the rest of their life, God can take away, and all they have to do is ask. God is in the scar removal business and He wants yours today.
